What It's About

Muslims? Jehovah's Witnesses? Mormons? Christians? Atheism? Chrislam (yep, it's a new one!)? It's now even being said that the US is a country made up of 3 million individual religions. So which one is real? Is there even a thing such as "real" or "true" when it comes to our beliefs and faith? In "The Real Thing in a World of Counterfeits," we'll be looking at this issue. What is real? How can we know Christianity is true? How do I recognize a counterfeit? How do I share "truth" with someone who doesn't believe what I believe? What do I do when someone from a different faith knocks on my door or invites my children to church? Truth is of the utmost importance both to this life and the next. Do you know the truth?

April 22: "Can You Handle the Truth?"
Many different belief systems take the appearance of Christianity. They may use the same terms, refer to the Bible, and follow some of the same behavior, but are they true? Can you handle the truth?

April 29: "How to Tell a Counterfeit"
Some counterfeits are better than others and take a little more observation. What it all comes down to how well you know the real thing. So, do you know the real thing when you see it?

May 6: "Questioning Counterfeits"
Discover some practical ways you can engage people with truth and love at your door or in a conversation at work or school.

May 13: "Counterfeit Bibles"
Sure there is the Bible, but what about the Koran, or the Book of Mormon, or modern day Prophets, or the New World Translation of the Bible? How can I tell what is real and what is counterfeit?

May 20: "Counterfeit Gods"
Don't we all worship the same God? Investigate what happens when Jesus isn't Jesus and God isn't God.

May 27: "Counterfeit Salvation"
All roads lead to heaven, right? Examine the various roads to salvation and see which ones lead home and which ones are dead ends.
