• What do we want to do at Meridian Point?

  Lead people to Christ (2 Corinthians 5:19), Lift them toward maturity (Colossians 1:28, 29), Launch them to do the same (Acts 8:4).

• How will we do that?

  Commit to being the CORE. (Acts 2:42-47) We want to be serious about God and crazy about people.

1. Corporate Worship - We will meet regularly to worship together with fellow believers. We do this primarily through our worship gatherings.
2. Others Focused - We will love others, both Christians and non-Christians, because God loves me. We will do this primarily through serving and giving in our church, our community, and world.
3. Relationships that are personal and intentional - We will build genuine relationships with others. We will do this primarily through Life Connections.
4. Educate ourselves in God’s Word - We will build a genuine relationship with God. We will do this primarily through Adult Bible Courses (ABCs).

• Why do we ask for these commitments?

  Christ committed to the Church and we should too. (Ephesians 5:25)

  Commitment identifies our family. It defines who can be counted on. (Romans 12:4, 5)

  Commitment helps hold us accountable. (Hebrews 10:24, 25)

  Commitment helps us grow. (Ephesians 4:11-16)
